Affiliate Disclosure

Some of the outbound product links on Pheromone Parfums are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we earn a small commission. You pay the same price you would pay going to the store directly. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet.

What that money does

It pays for the bottles we test, the writing time that goes into each review, and the boring stuff like hosting and email. Without affiliate revenue this site would either be behind a paywall or behind sponsored content, and both options are worse for you.

What that money does not do

It does not decide which products we cover. It does not decide which products win in a ranking. It does not buy a brand a better review or earlier coverage. If a product with no affiliate program is the best in its category, it wins the category. If a product paying a 15% commission has a mediocre formula, it loses. We have written negative reviews of products we earn commission on, and positive reviews of products we earn nothing on. That is the whole point.

Programs we participate in

We are part of the Amazon Associates program, which means qualifying purchases made through Amazon links on this site earn us a referral fee. We also participate in brand-direct affiliate programs for several of the perfume houses and online retailers we cover. The exact list shifts over time as brands change platforms, so we have not pinned it down here. Assume any outbound "Buy" or "Check price" button could be an affiliate link.

Buy however you want

You are not obligated to use our links. If you would rather Google the product and buy direct from the brand, do that. Our links are a convenience, not a tollbooth. We mention this because some affiliate sites talk like buying through them is the only ethical option, and it is not.
